Issue: A solid red power LED on your Atmocube indicates a corrupt internal configuration file.
Solutions:
There are two main methods to resolve this issue:
Manual Configuration via USB
Factory Reset
Manual Configuration via USB
Step 1: Generate a configuration file
Visit the Atmocube configuration tool at https://config.atmocube.app/
Select the appropriate SKU (with or without a PoE port).
Enter your Wi-Fi network's SSID and password.
Click "Generate Config" to create the config.json file.
Step 2: Prepare a USB Flash Drive
Save the config.json file to the root directory of a FAT-formatted USB flash drive.
Step 3: Disconnect Power
Remove the Atmocube from its power source.
Step 4: Insert USB Flash Drive
Insert the USB flash drive into the Atmocube's USB slot.
Note: You may need an alternate power cable if the provided L-shaped one blocks USB port access.
Step 5: Reconnect Power
Plug the Atmocube back into the power source.
Step 6: Automatic Configuration
The Atmocube will automatically read the config.json file from the USB flash drive (indicated by a purple power LED).
A successful configuration will turn the Wi-Fi indicator solid green.
Factory Reset
If the above method does not work, you can perform a factory reset. Instructions for a factory reset can be found here: Factory Reset Instructions.
