If Atmotube disconnects repeatedly or fails to stay connected on your Android phone, this is often caused by battery power optimization settings.
Some Android devices - especially Motorola phones - aggressively limit background activity. When battery usage is set to anything other than Unrestricted, the system may block or terminate Bluetooth (BLE) connections, even while the app is open.
Symptoms you may notice
Atmotube connects and disconnects every few seconds
Connection works briefly, then drops
Sync or background updates fail
The device connects in other apps but not reliably in Atmotube
How to fix the issue
Please set Atmotube’s battery usage to Unrestricted:
Open Settings on your phone
Go to Apps → Atmo PRO 2
Open Battery
Select Unrestricted
Restart the Atmotube app
After this change, Bluetooth connections and background sync should remain stable.
Why this is required
Atmotube uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to maintain a continuous connection for data sync and real-time measurements. On some Android phones, battery optimizations can interrupt or block these connections unless the app is explicitly allowed to run without restrictions.
Additional recommendations
Make sure Battery Saver is turned off
Keep Bluetooth and Location services enabled
Ensure Atmotube has all required Bluetooth permissions
